In his ongoing child support battle with his ex-girlfriend, Ayesha Howard, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is accusing her of “manipulative and unjustifiable conduct” and asked the judge to hit her with sanctions.
Howard is currently attempting to move their child support case to California, despite a prior ruling that the state has no jurisdiction. According to Edwards’ legal team, the court already found he had “no ties” to California and didn’t conceive the child there. His lawyer claimed Howard submitted “no credible evidence” showing she lives or works in California. She has provided no lease and no bills, per InTouch Weekly.
Edwards also alleged that Howard’s motives behind the pregnancy were financially driven, pointing to her submission of an ovulation tracker as evidence. His attorney argued that it “suggests a calculated plan to conceive a child with Anthony,” calling it a “planned financial decision.” They say Howard’s attempts to revive the case in California are nothing more than a desperate attempt to get more money in any upcoming child support ruling.

“The parties presented their arguments and the court ruled,” Edwards’ filing states. “Ayesha, unhappy with the outcome, now attempts to get a second bite at the apple.”
The Timberwolves guard is asking the court to impose sanctions, accusing Howard of abusing the legal system with recycled arguments and misleading evidence.
The judge has yet to rule on the sanction request.
