NeNe Leakes Says ‘Time Heals’ After Bravo Battle with Andy Cohen

NeNe Leakes says she is open to rebuilding her relationship with Andy Cohen years after suing Bravo and later dismissing the case.

During an interview with Vulture published Tuesday, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed that she and Cohen have exchanged text messages since her 2022 lawsuit against Bravo was dropped.

NeNe, 58, said they have not yet reunited in person, but she appears ready to leave past tension behind.

“I am the kind of person that, good or bad, time heals,” NeNe said. “You don’t have to be besties or anything like that, but I move forward. I’m not into holding negative energy.”

The reality star previously sued Bravo, NBCUniversal and Cohen, alleging the network fostered and tolerated a hostile and racist work environment. The lawsuit also claimed NeNe’s complaints about alleged racist remarks made by former castmate Kim Zolciak-Biermann were ignored.

Leakes ultimately dismissed the lawsuit several months later.

“I guess the question would be, ‘What would it take to get him back on those terms?’” she told Vulture while discussing Cohen.

Cohen recently said the lawsuit is “in the past” and shared excitement over NeNe appearing in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.

“She’s gonna be making an appearance,” Cohen said earlier this year. “I’m happy about it.”
