NeNe Leakes says her longtime Real Housewives of Atlanta costar Kim Zolciak is having a hard time as her 15-year-old son, Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., faces serious criminal charges.
NeNe revealed on The Big Tigger Morning Show that she recently reached out to Kim privately.
“I just hit her up, wanted to know how she was doing … and made sure she was OK with what her son is dealing with,” NeNe shared.
“I know that’s a tough time, and I know she’s not OK,” she added.
The two women fell out while filming the show but NeNe is still standing by her former bestie.
Kim has been focused on KJ since his August arrest. He was later indicted on seven felony counts, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery and false imprisonment.
“He categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct she has alleged,” she previously said. of the charges.
Kim was also in court Friday when KJ was granted a $200,000 bond. He was ordered to avoid social media and cellphone use while staying at Kim’s home and attending school virtually.
