Michael has become one of the biggest music biopics at the box office in history.

Just three weeks after its theatrical debut, the film has earned $577 million worldwide, according to Deadline. The movie brought in another $95 million during its third weekend, pushing it past Elvis to become the second-highest-grossing biopic ever released.

Only Bohemian Rhapsody remains ahead with more than $910 million globally.

The movie stars Jaafar Jackson as his uncle, Michael Jackson, and traces the King of Pop’s early years in the Jackson 5 through his emergence as a solo superstar. The cast includes Colman Domingo, Nia Long, Laura Harrier, and Mike Myers.

“Highlighting both his life off-stage and some of the most iconic performances from his early solo career, the film gives audiences a front-row seat to Michael Jackson as never before,” the film’s synopsis states. The film has also broken additional records since opening on April 24. Earlier this month, Michael delivered the biggest opening weekend ever for a biopic with a reported $314 million global debut.

Michael remains in theaters worldwide.
