Michael Rapaport has no love for Macklemore’s latest concert message, calling the rapper a “clown” after his pro-Palestinian remarks during Ed Sheeran’s MetLife Stadium shows.
Rapaport, 56, lashed out on Saturday on X after Macklemore repeatedly said “Free Palestine” and performed “Hind’s Hall” while opening for Sheeran in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
“Imagine going to see Ed Sheeran,” Rapaport began before attacking Macklemore’s musical talent and calling the performance “a nightmare.” In a separate post, he questioned Sheeran’s decision to keep Macklemore on the bill.
Macklemore, 43, made no secret of why he was speaking out.

“One of the reasons why I wanted to come on this tour” was to use stadium stages to say “Free Palestine,” he told the crowd.
The “Thrift Shop” rapper also brought his daughter Sloan into his speech, telling the audience that as a father, he wants his child to grow up safely and experience school, love and joy. He said he believes children everywhere deserve that same security.
Macklemore returned Saturday and again delivered his message and performed “Hind’s Hall.” The appearances have divided some concertgoers and prompted the Israeli-American Council to launch a petition seeking his removal from the remainder of Sheeran’s tour.
