Meghan Markle reportedly told her estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr., that he would never meet her children in a final letter addressing disturbing sexual abuse allegations against him.

According to The Sun, the Duchess of Sussex, 45, sent the letter in December 2025 while her father, 82, was hospitalized in the Philippines following a leg amputation.

The outlet reported that Meghan confronted her father over allegations involving young girls and made clear that he would have no contact with Prince Archie, 7, or Princess Lilibet, 5. She reportedly arranged for hospital staff to deliver the letter and document his receipt.

The revelation comes as Thomas Sr. faces an investigation into alleged possession of child sexual abuse material discovered by his son, Thomas Markle Jr., who reported the findings to authorities.

Thomas Sr. has denied the allegations.

Meghan previously addressed the matter in a statement, saying she was “deeply distressed at the news that has come to light in the last 24 hours,” and also explained why she had kept her distance from her father.

“Any distance from my father and my choice to not allow him to have contact with our children, was for one reason: to protect them,” she said.

London’s Metropolitan Police confirmed they received a letter containing allegations against Thomas Sr. in 2019 and are reviewing how they handled it.

The FBI has also confirmed it is aware of the allegations.
