Tennis icon Martina Navratilova is said to be feeling uneasy about how much of her wife Julia Lemigova’s personal life has become public following recent drama on The Real Housewives of Miami.
According to sources, Martina wasn’t pleased to see intimate details about Julia’s past relationships resurface on the show and in the press.
“Martina is a very private person,” one insider said. “She doesn’t like seeing their personal business out there, no matter what Julia says in interviews or online.”
The insider told RadarOnline that there has been “some tension” behind closed doors after Julia’s reunion comments, describing Martina as “more embarrassed than angry” about the situation.
During the show’s Season 7 reunion, Julia admitted she once hooked up with her castmate Adriana de Moura. That admission quickly spiraled into more drama when de Moura claimed Julia had also been involved with a Haitian mortician and a police officer in the past.
Julia later confirmed that she had a brief relationship with the mortician but firmly denied that it happened while she was married to Martina. Speaking at a fan event earlier this month, Julia told the audience the romance took place years ago when she lived in Paris and ran a spa.
Sources say that despite the upset, Martina and Julia are not getting a divorce.
