Mario Lashes Out After Being Accused Of Not Liking Black Woman

Singer Mario is speaking out following the backlash he faced after announcing that his Hispanic girlfriend is pregnant with his child.

After making the announcement, his DMs and comments were flooded with fans who called him out for allegedly not being romantically interested in Black women.

Mario says that’s fake news.

“I’m so tired of the black women slander in the comments about how I don’t like Black women and how Black women aren’t loved,” he wrote via Instagram. “If you’re making these comments, I’m convinced YOU have a problem with Black women. Black women are loved and needed.”

Mario has faced criticism recently for his public support of Canadian singer, Tory Lanez, who is serving a 10-year prison sentence for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

“You already know how Tory is. He gon’ go crazy with the music,” he said last April, later adding: “He’s one of the greatest writers of our generation, as far as urban music. He’s a great storyteller. Tory is incredible. He’s fire.” Watch below.
