Tension is rising inside a Los Angeles grand jury room as prosecutors press for answers in the death of Celeste Rivas.
According to information obtained by TMZ, at least one key witness has become so uncooperative that prosecutors are seeking to have her taken into custody to compel her testimony.
Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman stepped into a courthouse hallway on Wednesday and informed attorney Evan Jenness that she would ask a judge to issue a body attachment, a move used to force a witness to appear. Silverman appeared visibly frustrated and said authorities would bring the woman into court if necessary.

The woman’s identity is unknown, but the exact attorney represents her as Robert Morgenroth, the manager of singer D4vd.
Morgenroth spent roughly three days testifying before the grand jury and previously indicated that questioning inside the room grew tense. He told Jenness that Silverman challenged him about why he had not called the police, though he did not elaborate on the circumstances.
He said he believed it was not his responsibility and that he was focused on keeping D4vd’s tour running.
