Lizzo Reveals Her Ozempic Weight Loss Meals … And They’re “Good As Hell”

Lizzo is showing off a brand-new look and a brand-new lifestyle. The 37-year-old superstar — real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson — is opening up about her weight loss journey in the latest issue of Women’s Health, and she’s giving fans a glimpse into what she eats in a day while on Ozempic.

Lizzo Hits Her “Weight Release Goal”

Earlier this year, Lizzo shocked fans when she revealed she had finally reached what she called her “weight release goal.” Since January 2023, the Grammy-winning singer says she lowered her BMI by 10.5 and dropped 16% of her body fat.

And while Lizzo has always preached body positivity and self-love, she admitted that she wanted to focus on her health — especially after years of struggling with GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), a condition that causes painful acid reflux.

Her Three Go-To Meals On Ozempic

So, what exactly does Lizzo eat now? According to Women’s Health, her new diet is all about lean protein and veggies— a major change from her old vegan days, when she admitted she was mostly living on bread, soy, cashew cheese, and meat substitutes.

Here’s the breakdown of her typical day:

  • Breakfast: Two scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, and a cauliflower hash brown.
  • Lunch: She alternates between a shredded Thai chicken saladlettuce wraps stuffed with tuna, or sliced chicken breast.
  • Dinner: Lizzo keeps it consistent with turkey meatloaf, cauliflower mashed potatoes, and green beans — and she makes sure to eat before 5 p.m.

Why so early? Lizzo says it helps her manage her GERD. “My body needs time to digest food before I go to sleep, so acid doesn’t roll up to my throat,” she explained.

From Vegan To Protein-Focused

Fans who followed Lizzo’s earlier lifestyle may remember her stint as a vegan. But Lizzo admits she wasn’t approaching it in the healthiest way.

“I wasn’t getting the nutrients I needed,” she told Women’s Health. “I was mostly eating bread, soy, cashew cheese, and meat substitutes.”

Now, with her protein-heavy meals, Lizzo says she feels stronger, more energized, and finally in control of her health.

Social Media Reacts

Of course, social media has a lot to say. Some fans are praising Lizzo for being transparent about her health choices. Others, however, are side-eyeing the Ozempic factor, saying her meals alone aren’t the full story.

One user tweeted: “Girl, those meals look good, but let’s not pretend Ozempic ain’t in the mix.” Another fan defended her, saying: “So what if she’s on Ozempic? She’s healthier, happier, and managing her condition. That’s what matters.”

Lizzo’s “Good As Hell” Attitude

Despite the chatter, Lizzo seems unbothered. Known for her unapologetic personality, she made it clear that this lifestyle change isn’t about fitting into Hollywood’s unrealistic beauty standards.

Instead, it’s about longevity, health, and feeling good. “I had to learn how to take care of myself properly,” she said.
