Lil Baby has reignited his feud with DJ Akademiks by calling him “the feds” in a new music video clip, and Akademiks has already hit back online.

A video that surfaced Monday reportedly shows Baby in France filming a music video. In the clip, the Atlanta rapper can be heard rapping, “Fk Akadamik, that nia the feds.”

Akademiks answered shortly after on X.

“Half of Atlanta rappers documented on audio tape telling to cops including half the n—as he still call ‘TWIN,’” he wrote. “Is this n—a stupid … if I’m the Feds… young thug the lieutenant I report to him.”

Baby and Akademiks’ relationship appeared to turn sour in 2022 after Akademiks slammed the rapper’s music ahead of the release of It’s Only Me. Baby later hit back at Ak on “From Now On” with Future and “Top Priority.”

The back-and-forth did not stop there. Akademiks later said he would testify against Baby after rumors surfaced that the rapper was under police investigation. In 2024, the two continued trading insults online.

Earlier this year, things became more personal when Baby’s assistant, K Rich, claimed he had slapped Akademiks. Akademiks said K Rich tried to slap him but denied that he connected. Recounting the encounter on stream, Akademiks directed his anger toward Baby, saying, “Lil Baby, eat a d–k, n—a.”

Akademiks also revealed their past business dealings, alleging that Quality Control Music paid him $30,000 to back off criticism of Baby’s album. “You ducked and then had your assistant handle things. I’m ready to settle this anytime. I find you weak and untrustworthy,” he wrote.

A boxing match has been discussed, but never came together. Streamer Adin Ross said, “He’s willing to take on Akademiks if the price is right,” and added, “We need to come up with a proposal that works for everyone. There’s potential for profit here, for both fighters as well as for me.”
