Kyle Richards is ready to make peace with Dorit Kemsley if she returns for another season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“If I’m coming back, let’s just say that part first. You know that I would repair things with Dorit,” Kyle, 57, told Us Weekly, adding that she wants a reset after years of hurt feelings and blowups between the longtime friends.
“I would like to be able to put that behind us and start over,” she said, adding that there are still “some things” she wants to address from the previous season.
The two have not been in regular contact, though Kyle said she reached out to congratulate Dorit, 50, on the June release of her memoir, Unburdened.
“Other than that, no, I haven’t heard from her or anything,” Kyle continued.
Despite their estrangement, Kyle said she still cares deeply about Dorit and her family, especially as Dorit navigates her divorce from PK Kemsley.
“It’s sad to me because, you know, I did care about her, and I do care about her and her family,” Kyle said. “I just feel like we’re both going through so much and that we would have been much better off leaning on each other.”
