Rapper Kodak Black’s attorney is asking a judge to send the rapper to attend a drug treatment facility in Arizona after he was arrested and taken into custody on drug possession charges.
“If you’re buying drugs or using drugs, you’re a danger to the community,” the judge said in court. Yak will be spending Christmas in jail.
Federal prosecutors say Yak violated his three-year probation after former President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in 2021 over a Miami-Dade County conviction.
The rapper, who is being held at the Miami Federal Detention Center after his arrest in Plantation, Florida, for cocaine possession and other charges.
Yak was found asleep in his vehicle in Plantation, Florida. Cops claim they found pills and a white, powdery substance, which they claim is cocaine. Yak denies taking cocaine. Yak claims the substance is Percocet.
Fans have been concerned about the rapper’s drug use…which was only made worse by his recent Drink Champs appearance.
