British authorities say a truck carrying Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS products was secretly being used to transport millions of dollars’ worth of cocaine.
The United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency announced that Polish truck driver Jakub Jan Konkel, 40, has been sentenced to more than 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to drug smuggling charges.
According to the agency, in September 2025, Konkel was stopped by Border Force officers at the Port of Harwich in Essex, which is just outside of London, after arriving from the Netherlands. Officials said the truck was transporting legitimate SKIMS shipments of underwear and clothing at the time.
During an inspection, authorities discovered a hidden compartment built into the trailer doors, and inside, investigators found 90 packages containing about 2 pounds of cocaine each, with an estimated street value of $9.6 million.
Officials said neither SKIMS nor Kim Kardashian has been accused of wrongdoing in the case.
Investigators also looked at the truck’s tracking data and identified a 16-minute stop that Konkel allegedly did not disclose during interviews, and authorities believe the drugs were added to the vehicle during that stop before the truck crossed into the United Kingdom. According to the NCA, Konkel later admitted he agreed to transport the cocaine in exchange for 4,500 Euros.
“These drugs destroy lives and inflict misery on our communities,” Border Force assistant director Jason Thorn said in a statement. “This significant interception is testament to the brilliant work of Border Force.”
