Kid Cudi went from furious to forgiving in a matter of hours after Ebro Darden apologized for taking their private conversation about Ye public.
“Ebro just apologized sincerely and I accept it,” Cudi wrote on X Thursday, Sept. 17. “All good now. Enjoy yall day!!”

That peace offering came after Cudi accused Ebro of crossing a line by recounting what was said when the two unexpectedly sat down together for dinner.
“Not an interview,” Cudi wrote in a since-deleted post. “U are thirsty, and I think u speaking about our conversation publicly is classless.”
Cudi met Ye years before becoming one of his closest collaborators. Their work eventually included the 2018 album “Kids See Ghosts,” but friendship did not prevent public breakups. They clashed in 2016 and again in 2022, when Ye said Cudi would not appear on “Donda 2” because of his friendship with Pete Davidson.
A sincere apology eventually helped squash the beef, and Cudi said in July that they were “rebuilding our friendship.”
Cudi recently joined Ye onstage in Chicago and defended forgiving him, telling critic Peter Rosenberg, “That man is my brother.”
Ebro has a long history of publicly challenging Ye. Their 2018 disagreements over Ye’s political comments became especially memorable when Ye called Hot 97 and repeatedly told Ebro, “I love you.”
