Kevin Gates won’t be keeping all the money from his music catalog sale.
A court has ordered the rapper to direct a substantial portion of the proceeds to his estranged wife, Dreka Gates, as the two continue their contentious divorce.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show that Dreka is entitled to $929,341.50 in child and spousal support, plus a separate $150,000 payment, bringing her total allocation to more than $1 million.
Kevin will receive $538,798 immediately and $225,000 each month beginning in October.
The funds will be held in a Morgan Stanley account overseen by Bread Winner Alumni CFO Robert Bracy, with certified public accountant William Duerksen also authorized to access it.
Other payments include $125,000 for Dreka’s legal team, $100,000 for her accountant and $103,000 for mediation services.
In January, Kevin publicly accused Dreka of stealing from him throughout their marriage, allegations her attorney rejected as “completely false and fabricated.”
Dreka previously made her own allegations about the family’s finances, claiming in October 2025 that Kevin stopped providing financial support for her and their children in 2021.
