Karlissa Saffold, the outspoken mother of rapper Blueface and his brother Dre, is weighing in after both of her sons found themselves behind bars.
In a recent livestream, Karlissa suggested their legal troubles stem from what she views as a lack of respect toward her, and she called the situation divine justice.
“I mean, just like my sons got on her calling me all kinds of names, I knew it was gonna cost them,” she said directly to the camera. “I done taught you about playing revenge. Revenge belongs to the Lord, that is scripture,” she said.
“They not sitting in jail for no other reason than disrespecting their mama, and they know that. They know how God feels about me, they know how God works about me, because they know I’m not gonna put nothing before God or before them.”
Over the past few years, Karlissa has made headlines for her volatile relationship with her son Blueface, often clashing with him and his partners online. Now, with both Blueface and Dre incarcerated, she’s hoping that her sons have learned their lesson ahead of their release from prison.
