Kanye West is trying to find a new home for his Yeezy sneakers after Adidas terminated its deal with him over his anti-semitic rants.
Reports surfaced online on Wednesday claiming the rapper showed up to the Skechers’ headquarters in Manhattan Beach, unannounced with a camera crew in tow so that he could pitch his footwear to the company.
Skechers is a Jewish-owned company.
Skechers told TMZ that he “arrived unannounced and without invitation at one of Skechers’ corporate offices in Los Angeles. Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation.”
The statement continued, saying “Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. Again, West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices.”
Is it all over for Kanye West?
