Judge Delays D4vd Hearing in Grisly Murder Case of 14-Year-Old Girl!

Singer D4vd appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday as a judge delayed a key hearing in the murder case tied to the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.

The preliminary hearing, originally scheduled to begin May 26, was pushed to June 29 after prosecutors said they needed additional time to review what they described as a large amount of evidence. Another status hearing was set for June 17.

D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has pleaded not guilty to charges including murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, and mutilation of human remains. Prosecutors allege the singer killed Hernandez in April 2025 at his Hollywood Hills home before dismembering her body.

Authorities previously said the teen’s remains were discovered months later inside the front trunk of the singer’s Tesla after the vehicle was towed from a neighborhood near his home.

Court filings allege that he purchased tools, including chainsaws, heavy-duty bags, and a shovel, before Hernandez’s death. Prosecutors also claim investigators recovered blood evidence from the singer’s garage.

Defense attorneys have denied the allegations against D4vd.
