Georgina Ferzli told Amanda Batula to break up with West Wilson when the two women crossed paths at the In the City premiere party in May.
The Bravo newcomer said she first praised Batula, 34, for attending the event after keeping a low profile amid controversy surrounding her relationship with Wilson, 31.
“This is the first great thing you’ve done,” Ferzli, 40, recalled telling Batula during an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea. “It takes a lot of courage to show up to this premiere party.”
Ferzli said Batula’s next move should be ending the romance.
“The next good thing is to break up with West,” she told her.
According to Ferzli, Batula “laughed as if I was joking.”
Batula and Wilson confirmed their relationship in March after weeks of speculation. In a joint Instagram statement, they said their romance grew from a “genuine long-standing friendship” and was “the last thing either of us expected.”
Their relationship caused fallout within the Summer House group because Wilson had previously dated Ciara Miller, who was once one of Batula’s closest friends.
Ferzli said Batula has called the situation a “mistake,” but believes she still has an opportunity to change course.
“You keep making the mistake,” Ferzli recalled telling her. “You can end the mistake and start fixing it.”
Ferzli said she would “love to watch” Batula redeem herself and believes “everybody deserves a second chance.” Still, she admitted, “I don’t see that happening.”
