Harry Styles gave fans a scare at Wembley Stadium after appearing to choke on water and fall to the stage during a concert in London’s record-setting heat.
The moment happened Friday as Styles, 32, was closing his latest show in his 12-night Together, Together residency at the venue.
During “As It Was,” the singer performed his fan-favorite “whale” move, spitting water upward in a dramatic burst, but just seconds later, he appeared to choke on the remaining water and dropped onto his back.

Fan videos shared on social media show Styles coughing while lying onstage, and the singer stayed down for several seconds, raising a fist to cover his cough and placing his hands on his abdomen as he tried to recover.
After roughly 17 seconds, Styles stood up, appeared to be in good spirits and waved to the crowd before leaving the stage.
Friday’s concert came as the U.K. broke its June heat record for the third straight day, with London temperatures nearing 97 degrees.
