Rapper Gucci Mane and his wife Keyshia are expecting their second child together, Media Take Out has learned. The couple announced the pregnancy today on Instagram Live.
And it was a surprise, not just to us, but to Gucci Mane also. The beautiful Keyshia dropped the news to her husband while he lay in bed. She filmed the entire exchange for Instagram Live, and it was pretty beautiful.

Gucci was first intrigued by Keyshia when he saw her pictures in XXL back in 2010 while incarcerated. Upon his release, Gucci went on a hunt to find his future wifey. “He called [his manager] Amina from jail, and he was like, ‘Who is Keyshia Ka’oir?’ I want to meet this girl,’” Ka’oir told The Fader.
The couple was separated from 2014 to 2016 when Gucci was sent to prison. Although it was tough maintaining a relationship while the rapper was locked up, Gucci and Keyshia vowed to stick by one another, and Keyshia held him down for his entire bid.
Gucci Mane has released 14 studio albums and over 71 mixtapes throughout his career. In 2007, he founded his own label, 1017 Records. He has worked with artists such as the Weeknd, Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Selena Gomez, Mariah Carey, Usher, Bruno Mars and Marilyn Manson. His mixtape releases and trap music has influenced Atlanta rappers like Young Thug, Migos, Rich Homie Quan, 21 Savage and Lil Yachty, and he has been called an “avatar of East Atlanta,” and the most influential underground rapper of the 2000s.
