Gillie Da Kid hailed Drake as the winner in his epic battle with rapper Kendrick Lamar.
“It’s over with. Light-skinned n-ggas won. They took that sh-t, man. That sh-t over with, man. Kendrick can’t come back. When he came back again [with ‘Not Like Us’], I said, ‘Oh, he barbecue baked, honey-dipped, glazed, basted, seasoned the light-skinned n-ggas’ and then Drake just… It’s over with, the light-skinned n-ggas won,” he says.
Gillie is won of few in the music industry who believed Drake won after the Canadian star tapped out with his last single.
