Kim Zolciak’s former publicist is pulling back the curtain on their years together, describing her world as “very toxic” and saying her lifestyle became increasingly chaotic.
Jonathan Jaxson, who worked with the Real Housewives of Atlanta star from 2007 to 2009, told the Daily Mail that Kim was also “the life of the party,” and said being around her could feel addictive.
Still, he said the environment eventually became more “turbulent.”
Jaxson later reconnected with Kim during her breakup from Kroy Biermann, whom she married in 2011 before the pair first filed for divorce in 2023.
Their split has since unfolded through custody fights and very public money problems.
Jaxson said he also spoke with her estranged husband Kroy Biermann by phone during that period and described his tone as “very aggressive.”
Kim is also dealing with fresh financial and legal problems of her own. In April 2026, Headway Capital sued the former RHOA star over a business credit line tied to her now-defunct company, 8 Busy B’s LLC, alleging she failed to repay $75,000.
A separate debt case has also contributed to claims that she is facing nearly $150,000 in alleged unpaid obligations. Earlier this summer, Kim was ordered to pay $2,535 in overdue fees to the guardian ad litem assigned to her divorce and custody case with Kroy, with court documents warning that she could face incarceration if she failed to pay… and she paid up. Now she is supporting her son, KJ Biermann, who has been accused of several sexual crimes against a minor.
