Former Prince Andrew Arrested on His Birthday Following Epstein Scandal!

Former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been arrested in the U.K. on suspicion of misconduct in public office, prompting a rare and somber response from King Charles III.

In a statement released by Buckingham Palace, the king acknowledged the seriousness of the moment.

“I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor,” he said. “What now follows is the full, fair and proper process by which this issue is investigated. The law must take its course.”

Police confirmed that a man in his sixties from Norfolk was taken into custody on Feb. 19, with searches carried out at properties in Norfolk and Berkshire. Authorities declined to publicly name the suspect, citing national guidance, but confirmed an active investigation remains underway.

“As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further,” the king added. “My family and I will continue in our duty and service.”

Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright said investigators are focused on protecting the integrity of the case. “We understand the significant public interest,” he noted, adding that updates will be shared when appropriate.

Andrew, who turned 66 on the day of his arrest, has long faced scrutiny over past associations with Jeffrey Epstein, which he has repeatedly denied involved wrongdoing.

The development has reignited public attention around accountability and responsibility at the highest levels. Americans are waiting for those from this country named in the recently released Epstein Files to also face justice.
