Farrah Abraham says she is facing a serious surgery after a jaw issue began interfering with her daily life.
The former MTV personality opened up on a recent episode of the Pillow Talk podcast, telling the hosts that she is gearing up for a major medical procedure.
“I’m getting ready for a really big surgery, actually,” Abraham, 34, said. “So I’m actually having more surgeries.”
The 16 & Pregnant alum said she is dealing with “a degenerative disc disease in my jaws,” which has affected how she moves her mouth. “I don’t want any more surgeries,” she said. “So if you could imagine I can’t, you know, use my jaw.”
The Teen Mom alum said she is unable to “open [her] mouth up normally,” adding that something as simple as eating has become harder than it should be.
“I’m sure you guys could like put all of your hands in your mouth and I can’t right now,” she said. “I would like to just open my mouth for a hot dog.”
Degenerative disk disease occurs when the cushions between bones begin to wear down, sometimes leading to the bones rubbing together, often affecting the spine and affecting “most people” over age 40.
Abraham says she’s tired of the many cosmetic procedures, and recently revealed that she has stopped using injectables after reactions to fillers.
