Erica Mena is apologizing to Nicki Minaj for the shade she threw her way during the now-failed relationship with Safaree Samuels.
“I owe her the biggest apology,” Mena said on the Dumb Blonde podcast.
The Love & Hip Hop star says she believes all of the stories that Safaree told her about his rapper ex, and that now she realizes that Nicki had been telling the truth about him all along.
“It’s funny how life comes full circle. The same thing he did to her, he’s doing to me years later,” she said. “I owe this woman an apology. I sat here and allowed him to talk about her to me. Because of that, I defended him and spoke poorly about her. It was tacky. At the end of the day, I didn’t know the truth.”
Mena and Safaree share two children together and have since divorced. Mena has accused him of being a deadbeat, which he denies.
