Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson has slammed Gretchen Rossi’s explosive return to the franchise.
In the season trailer, Gretchen and Tamra Judge are seen reigniting their longtime feud, and speaking to E! News, Emily shared that she is siding with Tamra.
“You know, Gretchen gets scared too. Don’t let her fool you,” Emily told the outlet. “Gretchen can be strong on the red carpet. She can be very strong in interviews and in podcasts, but it took her a while to have a conversation with Tamra.”
“I feel like I had to consistently facilitate that. And she was like, ‘Well I don’t feel like I have to,’ and I’m like, ‘Then girl, why are you here?'” she said of Gretchen’s reluctance to confront Tamra head-on.
Gretchen quickly caught wind of Emily’s remarks and hopped online to clap back.
“I’m not sure what show Emily was filming, but I’m not afraid of anyone,” she wrote. “Once you see the show, we will see who is afraid of who. She was there when Tamra went running multiple times.”
