Dorit Kemsley has won a temporary reprieve in her fight with estranged husband PK Kemsley over their $6 million family home.
At a hearing Tuesday, a judge declined to immediately grant PK’s emergency request to put the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom property on the market, according to TMZ.
Dorit’s attorney, Samantha Spector, argued there was no emergency requiring an immediate sale, and the court agreed. The issue will be revisited at an August 26 hearing.
PK has claimed the home is at risk of foreclosure and has been pushing to sell it. He says he covered household expenses for months after moving out but eventually stopped paying once he secured his own residence.
Dorit has pushed back, arguing PK has enough money to bring the mortgage and other expenses current.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also maintains that PK should continue covering the bills because she is not receiving formal child or spousal support.
PK, meanwhile, has accused Dorit of spending nearly $1 million on clothing and travel while mortgage payments allegedly went unpaid.
The former couple also remains at odds over parenting time. Dorit has claimed she has their children 95% of the time, something PK disputes.
For now, Dorit and the children can remain in the home while the legal fight continues.
