Dorinda Medley was not staying quiet when it came to Jill Zarin’s backlash-filled comments about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show.
During the Feb. 9 episode of SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, the Real Housewives of New York City alum shared that the performance left her deeply moved and surprised by how strongly it affected her.
“We walk through this world right now, which can be very dark,” Dorinda said. “It was a moment of incredible hope for me. I was like, ‘Oh my god. This is beautiful.’”

Dorinda praised the global superstar for the energy and emotion he brought to the stage.
“So proud of Bad Bunny for doing this,” she said. “Music incredible.” She added that waking up to Jill’s reaction the next day felt jarring. “And then today we woke up to Jill Zarin giving her opinion on it.”
The reality star made it clear she disagreed with Jill’s take across the board.
“I don’t know how you can walk away from what we had the luxury and the honor of witnessing,” Dorinda said. “Especially for people that are frightened right now, that are faltered right now. He created hope, and I felt it.”
Dorinda admitted she usually avoids weighing in on charged topics, but this moment felt different. “I do not agree with any of it,” she said. “I am horrified by it.”
Dorinda was recently announced as Jill’s replacement on E!’s upcoming show.
