DJ Vlad says his beef with N.O.R.E. may be headed to court.
In a video shared to YouTube, Vlad claimed on X that N.O.R.E.’s wife, Neri Santiago, has threatened to sue him for defamation.
“I’ll also address Nore’s wife threatening to sue me for defamation in the same video,” Vlad wrote while teasing a response to a separate civil lawsuit filed against N.O.R.E. When a follower asked whether Santiago’s alleged threat involved Vlad referring to her as “white,” he replied, “Apparently so.”
The feud between Vlad and N.O.R.E. erupted after Vlad complained that the Queens rapper never returned the favor after Vlad appeared on Drink Champs. Vlad said the two had previously discussed N.O.R.E. appearing on VladTV.
“When it’s time to return the favor, I get the bulls–t,” Vlad continued.
N.O.R.E. later clapped back publicly, saying he did not want to appear on Vlad’s platform.
“No, I’m not doing yours! I don’t like you,” said the rapper.
Vlad has since claimed that there is a “dark side” to Drink Champs, while N.O.R.E. challenged him to take a lie detector test over whether he has ever used the n-word.
N.O.R.E. is also facing a civil lawsuit from Carmen Bryan, accusing him of sexual assault in 1999. The allegation has not been proven in court.
