DJ Akademiks says he is done chasing peace with Meek Mill and now believes their long-running feud has become one-sided.
During a recent livestream, Akademiks mocked the Philadelphia rapper while insisting Meek still has him on his mind.
“I know I live in Meek Mill[‘s] head [rent] free,” Akademiks said before playing a clip he claimed showed Meek mentioning him while visiting Gillie Da Kid.
He later declared, “I ruined him, bro. I ruined him.”
The media personality also blasted Meek for continuing to boast about luxury cars years into his career, saying, “You’re 20 years into a career. You’re still bragging about cars.”
Akademiks said their issues did not always have to end up here. According to him, he previously tried to arrange a face-to-face conversation with Meek and was even willing to travel to Philadelphia.
“I would have met him in Philly,” he said, adding that 21 Savage once got the two men on the phone to squash their beef. Akademiks claimed he had offered Meek chances to confront him “anywhere, anytime.”
“The only time he wants to do it is right now when he’s losing,” he continued. “That’s why I’m paying him dust.”
Ak and Meek have been beefing for years, but the pair are yet to hash out their issues face to face, despite Meek repeatedly challenging him to squabble.
