Sean “Diddy” Combs could still face charges connected to Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder if prosecutors uncover new evidence.
Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said on Tuesday that investigators are not currently prepared to charge anyone else, but he is not ruling out future action.
“At this point, we don’t believe we have sufficient evidence to charge anyone else with the death of Tupac Shakur,” said Wolfson. “But, like any other case, if we come into more information, more evidence, we can always consider filing additional charges.”
This week, Duane “Keffe D” Davis was convicted of murder in Tupac’s killing.
During Keffe D’s trial, jurors heard recorded police interviews in which he alleged Diddy offered $1 million to have Tupac and Suge Knight killed. Keffe D claimed Diddy wanted to “get rid of those dudes” and discussed killing them with him several times.
Diddy has denied any role in the murder.
“Diddy had absolutely nothing to do with the Tupac murder,” a source close to him previously told TMZ. “He did not pull the trigger or set it up.”

Prosecutors said Keffe D helped organize the retaliatory shooting after Tupac and others allegedly attacked his nephew, Orlando Anderson, at the MGM Grand.
Davis faces a possible life sentence when he is sentenced October 13.
