Deiondra Sanders says she is hurt after Jacquees admitted his heart was not fully out of his relationship with Dreezy when he began moving forward with her.
Jacquees recently joined Jordyn Lucas for a livestream and discussed the complicated timeline among himself, Dreezy, and Deiondra, with whom he shares a son.
Jacquees said he had “a lot of respect for Dreezy” and admitted their split became “a little sloppy” once it reached the internet. He also said he thought he was ready for a new relationship at the time, but now sees the situation differently.
“You not really ready for something else until you’re completely done with something,” he said.
Deiondra did not name Jacquees in the posts that circulated online, but fans quickly deduced that he was the subject matter of her posts.
“People always say I could’ve had anybody, an athlete etc and that’s true but I don’t date people based off their money,” she wrote. “The truth is, I fell in love and was sold a dream, later to find out I was just a rebound.”
She continued, “I was so in love that I ignored every warning. My family tried to tell me. Even his ex tried to tell me. Matter of fact, she made a whole song about it, and I still convinced myself that what we had was real. I just feel hurt, disappointed, and honestly, I need some time.”
She later added, “I take full accountability.”
During the livestream, Jacquees said he does not regret his son and wants everyone involved to be treated with respect and also praised Dreezy as a talented artist and writer, while saying Deiondra deserves happiness and support as a mother.
