Nick Cannon and DDG took their Wild ’N Out rap battle into deeply personal territory during a recent episode of the comedy series.
The exchange started lightheartedly when Cannon joked about DDG’s streaming career during a freestyle challenge.
“You can stream these nuts,” Cannon said before later telling the audience, “I’m jealous because y’all are making more money than me.”
DDG then responded, mocking aspects of Cannon’s family life, referencing the entertainer’s many children.
“Nick doing this show to pay child support,” DDG rapped. “But he really should wild’n abort.”

Cannon clapped back with a line referencing DDG’s public co-parenting issues with Halle Bailey, the mother of his son, Halo.
“Talk about my kids, yeah that’s fine,” Cannon rapped. “But at least my baby mama let’s me see mine.”
The moment appeared to catch DDG off guard before he answered with additional jokes aimed at Cannon’s dating history and fatherhood, but he looked clearly shaken.
“You like 60 plus, and still not married,” DDG said. “We don’t know s–t about you but Mariah Carey.” He later joked about Cannon’s children and the mothers of his kids, leading Cannon to laugh and reply, “Not all of them.”
Cannon is the father of 12 children. He shares twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey and also has children with Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Alyssa Scott, Bre Tiesi, and LaNisha Cole.
DDG and Bailey reached a temporary custody agreement in October 2025 after both sides agreed to withdraw domestic violence restraining order requests.
