Ciara Miller is opening up about life after the scandal that threatened to end the Summer House Bravo series.
Months after Amanda Batula began dating Ciara’s ex West Wilson, the reality star says the fallout changed how she approaches friendship.
“They thought I was guarded before? Mm-hmm,” Ciara, 30, told Us Weekly, laughing. “I’m just kidding, but, like, yeah, I definitely feel like you hit a threshold where you’re like certain types of people [don’t serve me].”
Ciara did not directly name Amanda, 34, while discussing the friendship shake-up, but she came to a major realization amid all of the chaos.

“You can’t be friends with the insecure girl. You can’t do it,” she said. “You can’t, you know, try to breathe life into someone that doesn’t see it themselves,” Ciara continued.
Amanda and West, 31, confirmed in March that their friendship had become romantic. Their relationship followed Amanda’s January split from Kyle Cooke, her husband of four years.
Ciara dated West in 2023 and had begun reconnecting with him during summer 2025.
Ciara says the experience forced her to take a harder look at the people around her.
“You gotta take a double, triple, quadruple take at some of the people in your life,” she said.

It also left her feeling more certain about her instincts. “My gut did not fail me,” Ciara said. “My gut was right.”
During the In The Coty reunion this week, Amanda revealed that she and West are now monogamous. Fans are begging Bravo to not bring Amanda back for the show’s second season.
