Chris Brown’s Ex Files Custody Case Involving Daughter Lovely

Chris Brown is facing a new legal battle involving his 4-year-old daughter, Lovely.

According to court documents, Diamond Brown filed a paternity suit against the R&B singer on April 3, seeking legal and physical custody of the child while requesting visitation rights for Brown. The filing reportedly included a voluntary declaration from 2022 that Diamond says Brown signed, acknowledging he is Lovely’s father.

Days later, Brown’s current girlfriend, Jada Wallace, gave birth to the singer’s fourth child.

Breezy has publicly referenced Lovely several times since her birth in 2022. Fans also speculated he confirmed the relationship in a social media post shared months after she was born. The singer later appeared at Lovely’s first birthday party.

Tension between Diamond and Wallace recently spilled onto social media ahead of Wallace giving birth. After Diamond claimed Brown threatened her partner, Wallace responded online, accusing Diamond of interfering with the singer’s relationship with Lovely.

“Tryna air business out like you not the one that’s stopping him from seeing his daughter,” Wallace wrote.

Diamond later denied blocking visitation entirely but admitted she temporarily paused visits after Brown allegedly confronted the parents of one of Lovely’s friends.

Brown recently welcomed his fourth child after beginning a relationship with Wallace in late 2024. He is also father to daughter Royalty, 11, and son Aeko, 6.

The singer has not publicly addressed the lawsuit.
