Candiace Dillard Bassett is pumping the brakes on any talk of a quick return to The Real Housewives of Potomac.
The former cast member, who joined the franchise in season 3 and exited after season 8, addressed the speculation on her Undomesticated podcast last week.
While fans have been eager to see her reclaim her spot, Candiace made it clear she is not rushing back. “I do not have any plans to return to Potomac at this time,” she said, adding that although she believes in “never saying never,” she is not entertaining conversations about coming back “like, yesterday.”
Instead, Candiace says her focus is elsewhere. Balancing life as a recording artist, entrepreneur, and mom to her 1-year-old son, she shared that she is prioritizing new opportunities.
“I am having conversations about other things and other projects and other ideas and other endeavors that I’m really looking forward to,” she said.
One of those projects is The Traitors season 4, which premieres Jan. 8 on Peacock.
