Bravo Halts ‘RHOM’ Filming as Franchise Faces Major Changes

Tiffany Brockworth |

The Real Housewives of Miami is facing an uncertain future after production on the long-running reality series was recently paused.

Sources connected to the show say filming is not moving forward at this time, and there are currently no confirmed plans for a new season. While the series has not been officially canceled, its return remains unclear as behind-the-scenes discussions continue.

Bravo is reportedly reviewing the franchise’s direction, with conversations underway about possible changes, including a cast shakeup or a full reboot. No timeline has been announced for the show’s return.

The Miami-based series originally premiered in 2011, then went on hiatus after three seasons. It was revived in 2021 and later returned to Bravo, where its most recent season aired in 2025.

Fans have continued to support the show over the years, even as ratings for the latest season slowed.

The most recent cast included Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, Guerdy Abraira, Julia Lemigova, and Stephanie Shojaee, along with several recurring cast members.

The uncertainty surrounding the series also comes amid ongoing legal issues involving Alexia’s estranged husband, Todd Nepola, who has filed a lawsuit connected to his portrayal on the show.

None of the Housewives has issued a statement about the reported hiatus.
