Bobby Shmurda is making it clear that he no longer has love for Jay-Z.
During a recent livestream, the rapper was asked whether Jay-Z still runs hip-hop. Shmurda quickly rejected the idea and launched into a profanity-filled response aimed at the music mogul.
“Man, f–k them n—as, n—a,” he said. “Opp Nation. He don’t run it.”
Shmurda then escalated his comments, adding, “I’ll slap the s–t out of Jay-Z, bitch n—a. … I don’t fight, I shoot n—as.”
The remarks came just days after Shmurda posted a series of messages to his Instagram Story criticizing unnamed figures in the music industry.

“Lesson come with blessing,” he wrote. “Stealing cheating lying does not make you a Boss, Smart Or a businessman. I don’t care if you did it for a billion dollars. You still a bum.”
The rapper previously signed a management deal with Roc Nation in 2021 following his release from prison. He and the company later parted ways, and in 2025 Shmurda referred to Roc Nation as “Opp Nation” during an interview with DJ Vlad.
Neither Jay-Z nor Roc Nation has addressed his recent comments.
