Blueface ended up on his knees in handcuffs Sunday night after deputies swarmed a Santa Clarita restaurant over what authorities later determined was an apparent swatting call.
The rapper was inside with Nevaeh Akira and their newborn child when Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an “emergency” report involving “severe violence,” law enforcement sources told TMZ.
Several people were detained while deputies investigated, including Blueface.
Social media video showed officers ordering the rapper outside as patrol cars and deputies surrounded the area. Nevaeh, who appeared to be holding their child, could be heard responding with concern when an officer asked Blueface if she was with him.
Blueface attempted to reassure her before complying with police.
He told Nevaeh to take his phone and go back inside, then walked backward toward the deputies with his hands in the air. Blueface was placed on his knees and handcuffed.

The situation ended without an arrest.
Deputies ultimately found that no crime had taken place and released everyone who had been detained, according to TMZ and sourced called the emergency report as an apparent swatting incident.
Blueface has had multiple encounters with law enforcement this month. Police previously responded to his Santa Clarita home after footage showed him kicking a then-pregnant Nevaeh into a pool. He was not arrested.
He was also pulled over in San Diego for equipment violations earlier in August and was again released without arrest.
