Blueface Says He Kept Paternity Rumor Alive for the ‘Storyline’

Blueface is trending online after he revealed why he publicly claimed to be the father of Chrisean Rock’s son, saying the situation became part of a profitable narrative during their high-profile, toxic relationship.

The Los Angeles rapper appeared on The Jason Lee Show, where he addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding Rock’s child and admitted he knowingly played along with the story despite believing he was not the father.

“We were making money, it was a good storyline,” Blueface said during the interview. “The biological father, he didn’t fit the storyline, put it that way. So, I went along with it.”

Blueface said there was no coordinated plan at the beginning, though he continued supporting the false narrative as it helped for their reality season and helped them both stay in the headlines.

Rock welcomed her son in September 2023. In the months that followed, Blueface repeatedly questioned whether the child was biologically his. By December 2023, he claimed he had privately conducted a DNA test and shared the alleged results online.

“Tell me why I snook an swab this baby dna test results came in….iam not the father,” he wrote on X at the time.

“I can’t even pretend like im not happy as hell,” he added.

Several months back, he claimed that he was not the father of her two-year-old son. Since his last public declaration, Rock has stayed away from Blueface, focusing on her son and her boxing career.
