Fo the second time in less than a year, German lifestyles brand Adidas is splitting with one of the biggest and best selling Black artists in the world
As Media Take Out reported, Adidas recently ended their partnership with Kanye West. Now they’re ending their partnership with Beyonce – probably the biggest artist (and Brand) in the world.
The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news yesterday that the Grammy-winning entrepreneur and the German lifestyles corporation have mutually agreed to part ways.
In 2018, Beyoncé entered a creative partnership with Adidas, where she re-launched her Ivy Parkactivewear clothing line and also developed new footwear and apparel for the brand.
But there has apparently been major creative differences between Ivy Park and Adidas, and Beyoncé is excitedly looking to reclaim her brand, chart her own path and maintain creative freedom.
And we managed to speak to a few of Beyonce’s people – and they us that Adidas FUMBLED THE BAG.
One of Beyonce’s close associates explained, “Beyonce’s Ivy Park releases sold out every time she dropped, [the launch] couldn’t have gone any better.”
According to Bey’s people, Adidas somehow fumbled the process. “They told us it was a sell out. Then later on they are saying it didn’t sell as well as it should. But I thought it sold out?”
Beyonce and her team are ending the relationship, and going to re-launch Ivy Park without Adidas.
