Hollywood actors Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s marriage did not last, but since their split and his recent split from Jennifer Lopez, the former couple are now closer than ever.
Jennifer has been Ben’s closest friend through some of his darkest times and was there to help him heal when “Bennifer” fell apart for the second time.
A source told InTouch Weekly that their relationship “goes beyond co-parenting. They have a deep, meaningful friendship.”
The insiders claim that some friends “might say they’re closer now than they were when they were married,” while others might think “maybe they’ve gotten a little too close for comfort.”
Ben and Jennifer tied the knot on June 29, 2005, and their divorce was finalized in October 2018. They share three children together: Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.
Jennifer has moved on and has been dating their boyfriend, John Miller, on and off since 2018.
“Jen will always want to ride to Ben’s rescue, but it stops there. The ship has sailed as far as the romance returning,” the source continued. “They’ve just been through so much together, how can they not be incredibly close and bonded forever?”
