Armie Hammer Says He Would Have Taken “Cat Food Commercial” After Hollywood Exile!

Armie Hammer is stepping back into acting after a five-year hiatus following an explosive BDSM scandal.

The actor, 39, opened up to The Hollywood Reporter in an interview about the allegations and public fallout that forced him out of Hollywood in 2021. Hammer has denied allegations of rape, physical abuse, and other misconduct.

“I made these problems for myself. This didn’t happen to me by a fluke accident,” Hammer said. “I didn’t do what people are saying I did. But I brought very dangerous and unsafe people into my life, and I pissed off people in my life, and here we are.”

Hammer’s career stalled after alleged messages involving BDSM and cannibalistic fantasies surfaced online. He later left multiple projects and was dropped by his agency. Effie Angelova also accused him of sexual assault during an alleged 2017 encounter. His attorney denied the allegation at the time.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office said in 2023 that Hammer would not be charged due to insufficient evidence.

“Healthy people don’t act the way I was acting,” he said, seemingly taking full responsibility.

His next role is in Citizen Vigilante.

“I’m going to get to do the thing that I love more than anything, other than my children,” he said.
