NBA star Anthony Edwards has revealed that he does not want custody or visitation with the 4-month-old daughter that he shares with Ayesha Howard.
“[Ayesha] and I have one minor child together, Aubri Summer Howard. Paternity was recently established through DNA testing. I am not seeking child custody or visitation of Aubri. Therefore, the only issues to be resolved are financial in nature,” court documents read.
Ayesha is 37, while the NBA star is just 23.
The court granted Edwards’ motion as he argued that Ayesha filed for child support in the wrong state. She filed in California, but the athlete says she lives in Georgia.
“[Ayesha’s] conduct here is unjustifiable and a bad faith attempt to obtain a higher child support order. Ayesha’s conduct of manufacturing a false reality and using the parties’ child for financial gains should not be tolerated,” Edwards’ legal team argued.
The pair must settle their child support issues in a Georgia court.
When the child support agreement has been settled, Edwards will have nothing to do with his infant daughter. Ayesha previously leaked text messages showing Edwards clearly telling her to get an abortion.
