Angela Oakley’s Real Housewives of Atlanta rumor about Shamea Morton is now a neighborhood fight, after Ashley Byrom accused her of inventing a story involving Ashley’s husband, George Byrom.
On a recent episode, Angela claimed Ashley told her that Shamea had an affair with George, who owns a personal injury consulting firm. Angela also suggested George’s donation to Shamea’s charity event raised questions.
Shamea later presented receipts disputing the claim, and several castmates said Angela was not telling the truth.
Ashley responded on Instagram, saying Angela had called her to “fish for information” and received “absolutely nothing but a neutral response.”
“Imagine calling me to fish for information about another woman, getting absolutely nothing but a neutral response… then turning around and making MY husband the centerpiece of a story you created in your own head,” Ashley wrote. “Let’s be serious.”
She added, “I’m just glad Shamea brought it to light before she had the chance to fully run with that made-up narrative.”

Ashley also shared a red carpet photo with George and Angela’s husband, Charles Oakley, from an event sponsored by George’s business, writing, “We’ve donated to charities all over Atlanta. This wasn’t unique.”
Angela fired back, writing, “Truth doesn’t need my help. It’ll reveal itself soon enough.” She also admitted, “me hiring a private investigator and asking questions” became part of the drama.
