Ciara Miller came to the Summer House reunion ready to confront Amanda Batula about the relationship timeline of Amanda’s romance with West Wilson, which became public.
During the Season 10 reunion, Ciara read private texts she said Amanda had sent her on March 5, when online rumors about Amanda and West had begun to spread. West is Ciara’s ex, and Amanda had recently separated from Kyle Cooke.
“Hi checking in. The internet is on one right now and I feel like everything I do is under a microscope and I can’t believe I’m even having to text you this right now but West and I are very much so just friends,” Amanda wrote in the message Ciara read aloud. “I’m sad we’re even having to discuss this.”
Ciara said she pressed Amanda for a clearer answer, reading another message she sent that day: “OK, so, for clarity, since I don’t really feel like you’re making it clear, you and West haven’t hooked up, made out, held hands under table, or had sex?”

According to Ciara, Amanda replied, “Correct.”
Amanda then admitted on the reunion, “And I said, ‘Correct.’ And I lied, 100 percent lied.”
Amanda said what was happening with West at that time was “PG.” She and West confirmed their relationship in March, two months after Amanda and Kyle announced their separation. Kyle later defended Amanda while criticizing West. “Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and is trying to come to terms with it. She is not well,” he said.

Amanda and West were accused of “breadcrumbing” not only their castmates but viewers, as social media posts show that the pair were hanging out a lot last year. The pair enjoyed many late nights together, and the cast had already begun to notice how touchy-feely they were with each other.
