Ally Lewber says she was completely caught off guard by rumors surrounding her ex, James Kennedy’s, personal life.
The former Vanderpump Rules star opened up in a recent interview after reports surfaced claiming James and his current girlfriend are expecting their first child together. According to Ally, the news was the first she had heard about any serious new relationship involving the DJ.
“Shocked,” she admitted. “I didn’t know he had a girlfriend.”
Ally shared that James had long talked about wanting to become a father during their relationship.
“He always wanted to be a dad,” she said. “He was so ready for all of that stuff yesterday, and I’m still not ready,” adding that she wants the best for her ex.
“I just hope he’s happy and healthy, and I wish them the best,” she said.
The former couple split following a December 2024 argument that reportedly began during Kathy Hilton’s holiday party and later led to James’s arrest on suspicion of domestic violence.
“It was really heavy,” she said of the breakup before explaining that she stepped away from dating afterward to focus on healing.
Ally also revealed that she and James have not communicated since the breakup, though she recently heard from mutual friends that he has become more private lately.
“So it’s still James just being James,” she said.
