Adidas Decides To Sell Its Yeezy Stock

Lyndon Abioye |

Adidas has finally decided it will sell the remainder of its Yeezy stock.

If the company does not sell the stock, it will lose more than $770 million.

Back in February, Kanye West and Adidas reportedly reached an agreement for the sportswear brand to continue selling Yeezys after the brand disclosed it would lose more than a billion after concluding its deal with him. Rumors circulating on the internet say that the agreement with Ye is to sell $500 million USD worth of its remaining YEEZY sneakers.

Adidas terminated its partnership with Ye last October after a string of anti-semitic tweets. In an interview with Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes, Ye demanded that Jewish people forgive Hitler and “let it go.”

“adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness,” the company said in a press release at the time.
